The approximate weight of a conventional golf ball is 45 grams. Being able to fit 2 golf balls in the putter gives you up to 90 grams of adjustable weight. On fast greens you can use a single ball to lower the weight and moment of inertia. By putting a single golf ball in either the front to move the weight forward or the back to move the weight to the rear you can change the look and feel of the putter.

The insert is made to fit into the open cavity in the body of the putter. The insert is also the same approximate weight of 2 golf balls and can be held securely within the putter.
